Donnie`s Diner in Branson

The service was terrible. We only saw ourr waiter when he took our order and when he brought our food. It was very disappointing.

You'll be greeted by friendly faces as soon as you walk in. And once you seat yourself to the table of your choosing your waiter spots you so dont worry about sitting there forever before someone takes your order. The food was excellent!!! and the atmosphere casual and comfortable. The staff help each other which leads to quick service so we all got our food fast. Our youngest described the pancakes as the biggest in the world !! :) which they probably aren't but everything was big and tasty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Since Donnie and Vivian left the service is slow and they do not wait on the regulars like they should. Donnie had a policy if he was there the door was open since then the employes get there and their own son made comment we don't open till 7 that is why the door is locked wish Donnie and Vivian would come back and teach these young people some respect

Clean restaurant. Food was ok got a burger. Terrible service.

Waiter needs to work. Dropped food at table and left. Need to ask if the customer needs anything. One star only because you have to mark something for it to post.

Good food..very friendly waitress

The food is great (which is why this gets more than one star) but they are severely understaffed, they had only two people there the last time we went and the place was packed. We were never served, and no one was at the counter the majority of the time. expect to track a ton of hash browns out on the bottom of your shoes too. Sadly won't be going back.

Saturday afternoon I find a bank bag belongs to you guys. It had money an deposit slips in it. So my husband an I took the bank bag in to the restaurant an gave the bag to the manager. She never said thank you. Not even a free coke. Next time I find a bank bag belongs to yo will keep it. Thank you an you have a great day

Donnie's is located in a little shopping mall next to a couple unique shops that provide some good atmosphere to walk off that reliable country breakfast. The service is quick and delightful. The food was top notch diner food. You won't find a fancy plating job, but the food quality is spot on for the price! I'll definitely be back.

The breakfast was delightful; we were all eating off of each other’s plates. The blueberry topping brought out with the pancakes tasted wonderful on my biscuit.

Waited over 25 minutes for an omelette and everyone around us who had arrived afterward was being served. It was not very busy either as it was 10am. Thought we would enjoy a quick bite for breakfast but had to leave after waiting 25 minutes for food. As we left we told the cashier we could not wait any longer after 25 minutes and she said, “ok” and then turned to the kitchen and said, “. Don’t make 18!” Clues me in that they had not even started cooking our food. Might come back to try again, but first experience not a positive.

Long term neighborhood diner feel. Large portions. Breakfast was good.

Food was good, but the restaurant was SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. Customers actually were taking the coffee pot around and refilling other customer’s cups. The one waiter they had serving 10-12 tables was completely lost and was like a bull in a china shop banging into chairs as he rushed around. 6-8 customers actually gave up and left after waiting 10+ minutes to just get a menu. Again, the food was ok (not amazing) and really not worth the wait and the chaos we all had to endure. Hopefully, the owners can staff up and improve the experience. Until then, maybe we all out to help them out and reduce the restaurant’s work load and eat somewhere else.

The service needs improvement. I had to go to the counter to get anyone to take my order, and when I had received my order of an omelette and onion rings, and coffee, the only flatware I got was a spoon. When I mentioned this to the wait staff, there was apologies, or even an attempt to get the fork, I so desperately needed. Having said that, the food was hot and the order was quick in coming, and the staff friendly.

The food was priced great and it tasted pretty darn good too. Definitely a place I'll return to.

The New York strip and RibEye were excellent. Our drinks never made it half full. The service was excellent. I've been here twice and always excellent food and service.

I like the food here, I have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed my time spent there, I have been back in the kitchen before and its very clean back there I recomend y'all turn right a little earlier than your normal McDonalds turn.

Absolutely the worse service. Can't comment on food because we didn't get to eat. Took 30 minutes to get coffee and menu. Another 20 for someone to take our order. After 1 1/2 hours of watching other's who came in after us get served and having to get our own coffee, we left. I have been a waitress for over 30 years off and on as second job and this was totally unacceptable.

Was craving some breakfast and had not tried Donnie's before and was heading to Branson West so figured I would give it a chance! The food came rather quickly and was a very good comforting breakfast! The price was good too for all the food I ordered. My only tiny complaint was after I placed my order and received my food I didn't see my waitress again and had to ask both times for more coffee.. Nothing too major just wasn't that busy so she was either on break or forgot about me. Other then that I would eat here again!

The worst service I have experienced. Took over 45 minutes to receive food. No one acknowledged us to let us know why there was such a long wait after we ordered. Did not get a water refill the entire time we were there. Some of the food was barely warm from sitting on warmer too long. Will not go back.
